Starpnozaru mākslas grupa SERDE ir biedrība, kuras darbības mērķis ir veicināt profesionālās mākslas un kultūras attīstību Latvijā, attīstot reģionālu un starptautisku sadarbību starp dažādu nozaru kultūras un mākslas organizācijām un indivīdiem, piedāvājot reāli funkcionējošu vidi un infrastruktūru ārpus ierastās centrālās pilsētvides. 2002. gadā tika uzsākts mākslinieku darbnīcu un rezidenču centra izveides projekts Aizputē, vēsturiskā ēku kompleksā Atmodas ielā 9.
The interdisciplinary art group SERDE is a public association. The main activities of this organization are contribution on exchange between art, culture, science and educational fields, organizing residencies, workshops, seminars, lectures, presentations etc. The residencies' and workshops' centre SERDE was founded on 2002 and it is located in the historical centre of one of the oldest Latvian regional towns – Aizpute (180 km from the capital Riga). SERDE offers a platform and infrastructure for cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaboration - the alternative space where to get the inspiration and create.
