Green Control Manager (GCM)

We aim to make a happiness for people in our society. Some people say that we lose many 'heart's-blood' and priceless values in our life. We have been struggling to live in the world, so we forget valuable things.

We are doing business not only for our profit, but also for our society. How? By being green! So far companies as bigger organizations could build bigger factories. This is one of the ways to satisfy our society. But big is not enough to make people happy.  To get back human's happiness, to be a good organization, we need to build not only bigger factories, but bigger markets, networks and communities. "Good is more than just the absence of evil", so it is not enough just to be not evil, the company has to be "good" . 

Green Control Manager (GCM) will  put green value, above all. It could even mean that we maintain our aim, which is sustainable, urban food growing and city gardening systems, do our best social responsibility. We try to do it in a more human way. We cover all of parts in our company to go on being green. For example we always check our marketing promotion to be green.

To keep creating our value, we try to concentrate three concepts:

1. What? Ethical accelerators (trust)

Green economics calls for a richer and deeper understanding of people, their relationships, and how they behave and are motivated.1. We also demand the trust from every members in our society.

Before company just pay attention to provide a product without relationship with members in our society especially customers. It means that company have neglected to make sincere behavior between them. But, recently, every business environment is out of control. Company cannot do business in this period with the past value.

Now, companies have to keep doing business as ethical accelerators; transparency, openness, rules and accountability. Forgetting about trust, a company cannot beat any competitor in the market.

Equality and justice are at the heart of what we do and take precedence over considerations such as efficiency.

2. How? Holism

In 'Metaphysics', Aristotle said, "The whole is more than the sum of its parts."

We need a thorough different attitude towards meeting our needs, one which involves expecting ecology and living in balance with the planet including whole of alive things. From a green perspective we need to see the whole pictures then we can manage our business.

We also consider not only our single species but also the whole system of planet Earth with all its complex ecology and its diverse species. We need to extend this further, to include all the other species with whom we share this planet in our decision making.

In conclusion, we cannot please ourselves without considering the consequences of what we are doing for the rest of our ecosystem.

3. For what? - culture of meaning

Conventional economics focuses almost exclusively on quantity, whereas green economists are more concerned with the quality of human life1. We think production and and consumption are meaningful when they actually yield durable, tangible benefits to people, communities and society. We create culture of meaning. We are concerned about are not merely physical needs but also psychological and spiritual needs.

Nowadays, some academies make up a program to be green manager. For example, Leed learning, which is one of the UK's largest providers of training and development for businesses promote the green manager course for who wish to utilize sustainable best practices for tangible, commercial gains. Also, government give a certification to be green manager. For instant Singapore government has a certification scheme with green technology. Above all, many organization try to prepare being green by getting experience, but, it does not sense to be green. Although an employee has got an experience or learning about green business, they have to change their attitude from conventional economic view. We say that technology that can develop as sustainability is important issue as well. However, at first, green manager must get a point being recognized his eyes by holism with trust, for making meaningful culture.

In our company, we focus on managing human resource to be 'real green', following our three concepts outlined above. Not only to be talented in green economics and technology part, but also they would deeply cherish the happiness of all member in our planet. Because, there are no more available doing business without recognition of interdependence.

That is why we create a new part, GCM, which controls our green strategy for not only sustainable economics, but also our planet. It can influence others business parts, as well as be a new platform in itself.
