Look at the XO controls and connectors, and check out the movable bits. Which ones do you know the meaning or function of? Can you guess what the others might do? How could you find out? Make a drawing in your notebook, and label the ones you know or can guess, and write down questions about everything else. Lots of questions.
Do you know how to turn the XO on now? Children who have never seen any electronics before will presumably not know the international power button symbol. Should we tell them, or encourage them to try pushing everything?
What about you? Do you recognize the power button, or are you willing to push everything in order to find the power button, or are you afraid you might break something? Don't be. You won't.Even if you know which is the power button, you can try pushing everything else. What happens? Is that what you expected with the power off?
Hint: The power button bears the symbols for the binary digits, 0 and 1, representing off and on, but overlaid, which is a convention for a switch with intermediate power states such as sleep and standby.
There has been error in communication with booki server. Not sure right now where is the problem.
