I'm zooming down a set of railway tracks - are my feet on wheels or what? - and ahead is a tunnel entrance, cartoon-like, black, arched, eerie. The tracks appear to converge, classic perspective trick; but as I get closer the perspective doesn't change - the tunnel stays tiny, and I careen down the track, clamped to the rails, no escape, heading inexorably for the ever-tinier tunnel....
Finally I can't avoid it.... I squeeze into the tunnel, terrified of being crushed by the dark.....
Then suddenly I'm out, gasping in the air again, so relieved to see the light.
But - I'm still a prisoner of the rails that run far into the distance.....
And ahead I can see another tunnel.............
