Ok Using the text snipped box I might be able to read what I am writing easier.
Another reason why I think that this a tool that will help people make books is that so many people use just such a feature in facebook to communicate with each other. I had friends that got engaged a few months ago and the way they told every body was a message on facebook, so I think people are very used to using this sort of interface as a communication tool.
Ofcourse not every uses facebook, in the above example, I don't have a facebook account and Mel only checks her account once every few months so we were left right out of the loop for about a week until we ran into some who had read it on facebook.
Now this message was probably an overkill.

@adamhyde I definitely think it will help with communication among contributors to a book, especially between those from different time zones and not likely to be editing the book at the same time and therefore can't use the chat feature. I think that all makes sense.
